Two bodies were found in a house near Bayreuth on Sunday morning.
A short time later, the suspect turned himself in - he is only 18 years old.
Mistelbach - In the early hours of the morning on Sunday, January 9th, a serious crime occurred in Mistelbach (district of Bayreuth *).
According to the officials' first findings, one couple was "violently killed".
A suspect has already been identified.

Two dead near Bayreuth: neighbors hear cries for help
On the night of Sunday, shortly after midnight, neighbors noticed calls for help from the neighboring property, writes the Upper Franconian police in their press release.

A little later, the emergency services arrived at the single-family house and gained access.
The police found two lifeless people in the basement.
The bodies are a 47-year-old woman and her 51-year-old husband.
They both had stab wounds.
The police immediately initiated a large-scale manhunt.
A suspect could not initially be identified.
At around 4 a.m. on Sunday morning, the potential perpetrator turned himself in. It is an 18-year-old.
He was arrested in the city of Bayreuth.
He was then taken to police headquarters and searched.
He is currently still there, the police say.
Why the 18-year-old committed the act is still unclear.
According to initial findings, the 18-year-old had spent the night with the couple.
“He didn't break in.
He was let in, "said a police spokesman.
At first he was unable to give any further details.
The investigation continues.
