Last year, the general hospitals of the Daraa Health Directorate provided about 515,504 free services to patients, and the number of patients admitted to hospital departments was 24,295.
The Director of Health, Dr. Ashraf Barmo, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the number of outpatients at public hospitals last year amounted to 49,469, 3,940 of whom were accepted, while 382,274 patients visited the health centers in Daraa, who received 45040 laboratory analyzes, and 22,560 patients underwent dental treatments.
Barmo added that the directorate has 38 dialysis machines, and the number of patients last year reached 213, who received 18,288 sessions, indicating that the number of registered patients in the diabetes clinic reached 11,792 patients, in the Maltese department 507, in thalassemia 207, tuberculosis 46, and 172 patients with cutaneous leishmaniasis.
On the other hand, the director of Izra Hospital, Dr. Suha Qassem, indicated in a similar statement that the hospital, which covers a wide geographical area in the governorate, is making great efforts by its staff in the field of providing services to patients, indicating that the medical isolation department, which includes 14 beds and 12 ventilators, provides great services and consumes daily within limits. 50 oxygen cylinders.
In turn, Dr. Anas Al-Zamil, who works in the medical isolation department at Izra Hospital, indicated that the staff working in the medical isolation department dealt with cases infected with the Corona virus, the last of which was a 63-year-old patient who entered a bad condition and was oxygenated 38. The case was dealt with over a period of 45 days until its stability.
