As-Suwayda-Sana
The National Microfinance Bank branch in As-Suwayda granted 2,265 loans to finance various small projects, with a total value of more than 3 billion and 200 million Syrian pounds.
The director of the bank’s branch, Tamim Nasr, told SANA reporter that the loans granted were distributed by 1,093 productive development loans, most of them for agricultural projects, at a value of two billion and 200 million pounds, and 1172 personal and consumer loans, with a value of about one billion pounds.
He pointed out that the loans were granted in an easy way based on the instructions regulating lending, with ceilings for small projects reaching 30 million pounds and a repayment period of up to 8 years.
It is noteworthy that the National Microfinance Bank works in accordance with its developmental role to grant soft loans in its various branches in the governorates with the aim of supporting the implementation of small and medium projects.
