Hang Seng Bank (0011) announced that its North Point branch on King's Road had previously been suspended due to being included in the government's mandatory inspection notice, and will resume business tomorrow (10th).
The test results of all staff have been confirmed to be negative, and the relevant branches have also arranged for additional deep cleaning and disinfection.
Hang Seng said that it has taken a series of preventive measures in response to the novel coronavirus disease outbreak, including increasing the frequency of deep cleaning and disinfection in branches, installing plastic isolation sheets at open counters, requiring employees to take body temperature before going to work and wearing masks in branches .
The bank added that Hang Seng is committed to maintaining normal banking services for customers, while also prioritizing the safety and health of customers and employees.
