The Training Center at the General Company for Engineering Studies of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing offers a set of qualitative courses to develop the skills of engineers and give them new experiences that serve the reconstruction phase, according to the company’s general manager, Dr. Tariq Hossam El-Din.
The newly established center’s courses and training courses include engineers working in public and private agencies and recent graduates. Hossam El-Din explained in a statement to SANA that the center was established at the end of last year in coordination with the Ministry of Administrative Development with the aim of training engineering cadres inside or outside the company and from the public and private sectors according to three specializations. Hossam El-Din indicated that after the training, a questionnaire is conducted with the aim of evaluating and knowing the benefit gained by the trainee and working to avoid any errors, if any.
While monitoring the reality of training at the center, SANA met a number of trainees who talked about the diversity of lectures between theory and practice. In turn, the engineer, Alaa Ali, from the company's Urban and Suburban Planning Directorate, who works in the engineering field, indicated that the courses held by the center work to develop skills and give new experiences, noting that she has undergone a course on the AutoCAD program for creating drawings and designs.
