Storm, snow and slippery ice: Official warnings throughout Bavaria - parts are hit particularly hard

Winter fans watch out: In some regions of Bavaria it will snow heavily on Sunday.
The DWD has already issued official warnings.
Update from January 9th:
All of Bavaria shines in yellow and orange.
At least if you take a look at the warning card of the German Weather Service (DWD).
From Hof to Kempten it will be uncomfortable this Sunday.
While it gets stormy near the Alps, Deep Doreen brings heavy snowfall to the north.
Weather in Bavaria: Warning of gusts of wind, black ice and snowfall
With values between four degrees in Munich and one degree in Hof, it actually snows over the whole of Bavaria on Sunday.
In Upper Franconia, the DWD warns of drifting snow and falling snow into the afternoon.
Up to 15 centimeters of fresh snow can come together here.
It's getting slippery on the streets.
Wind gusts of up to 60 kilometers per hour can also occur here.
In the west of Bavaria it remains comparatively warm.
Würzburg reports five degrees, Ingolstadt, Nuremberg and Bamberg report four degrees.
There is a mixture of rain and snow here.
This, too, can be dangerous for drivers when sleet hits the frozen roads.
In Lower and Middle Franconia, the rule of thumb is to step off the gas.
In the foothills of the Alps, you tend to fight with storms and less with snow.
Around Munich and especially in the Allgäu, gusts of up to 75 km / h can still occur throughout the morning.
In addition, up to 15 centimeters of fresh snow can come above 800 meters, writes the DWD.
In the region around Rosenheim, the weather service also warns of slippery conditions.
Drivers should be careful here until noon.
Weather in Bavaria: Warning of frost for the whole of the Free State
And for the whole of Bavaria, there is another warning of frost from the late evening hours.
In Kempten, for example, the thermometer drops to minus seven degrees.
Otherwise the temperatures will be around or below freezing point.

Munich - White winter weather is currently making the Bavarians happy in many places.
Already on Friday evening (January 7th) and also on Saturday night it snowed in many regions of the Free State.
In the state capital, the people of Munich were happy about a thin - but nonetheless existing - white blanket of snow.
Numerous children were out and about with their sledges on the town's toboggan mountains.
Sunday (January 9th) should also provide another white supply in some regions.
According to the German Weather Service (DWD), up to 15 centimeters of fresh snow is expected to fall from the sky.

Winter weather in Bavaria: DWD warns of snowfall in some regions
On Sunday from midnight to 4 p.m., the DWD's official warning of snowfall applies.
“During the warning period, snowfall amounts between 8 cm and 15 cm.
It will spread smoothly ", writes the weather service in its warning of level 2. The following districts in northern Bavaria are affected:

The DWD also warns of snowfall on the edge of the Alps in the south of Bavaria. Above 800 meters, the weather service expects quantities “between 8 cm and 15 cm”. In congested locations, amounts of up to 20 centimeters of fresh snow can be reached. Here the districts of Oberallgäu, Ostallgäu and Garmisch-Partenkirchen are the focus of the warning.
Warning of ice and frost in almost all of Bavaria
In addition to the snow warning, the DWD warns of frost and slipperiness in almost all of Bavaria. The warning applies in most regions from Saturday night to Sunday 12 noon.
