A special survey published this morning (Sunday) on 103FM reveals that most Israelis support a policy of restrictions on the unvaccinated in access to activities and social life.

Israel is making huge strides toward a wave of mass infections in Corona, and along with the rapid increase in the rate of verification, the possibility is growing that further and stricter restrictions will be imposed on those who choose not to be vaccinated.

In France, President Emanuel Macron stepped in when he admitted in an interview that his strategy was to "make the lives of the unvaccinated bitter."

The published poll reveals support for the French president's harsh policies.

According to the survey, close to 61% of opinion leaders support the policy presented by Macron and as a result impose restrictions on the unvaccinated in Israel.

Only 39% oppose such a move.

According to the survey editor, support for imposing restrictions increases as respondents' age, education and family income level increase.

Thus, for example, 70% of respondents aged 60 plus support the restrictions - compared to 42% of young people up to the age of 29, 50% in the age group 44-30 and 62% in the age range 59-45.

About two-thirds of those with an academic education support the restrictions, compared with 58% with post-secondary education and 41% with high school education.

68% of those whose family income is above average support the restrictions - compared with 46% of those with lower than average incomes and 52% of those with average family incomes.

The director general of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, responded to the results of the survey in a conversation with 103FM, saying: "I'm not sure it helps, I think it produces resistance and will not really get people vaccinated."

More than one hundred thousand carriers

Over the weekend, 28,889 new verifications to the corona virus were found.

Of the 200,365 corona tests performed, 18,780 were found to be positive.

The hospitals are hospitalized 172 patients with a severe defined condition, 49 of whom are respirators.

The rate of positive tests was 9.48%.

The new data brings the epidemic to a record number of carriers so far.

There are currently about 100,000 active carriers of the corona virus.

At least one in every 100 Israelis carries the virus.
