What are the public holidays in 2022?
Examined by most of the employees, the calendar will prove to be quite interesting this year.
In 2022, four of them fall during the weekend, four on a Friday or Monday and three in the middle of the week.
Taking 17 days off on specific dates (see infographic below) will give you 40 days of vacation.

The first possibility is offered in

on Easter Monday (April 18).
By posing on Friday the 15th, you get four days of rest;
an opportunity to take advantage of the arrival of fine weather.
Note that this day is a public holiday in Alsace-Moselle (departments of Moselle, Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin) where it corresponds to Good Friday.

, thanks to Ascension Thursday (May 26), requesting leave on Friday 27 gives you a four-day bridge.

At the beginning of

, without sacrificing any time off, you enjoy a three-day weekend thanks to Whit Monday (June 6).
Here, the trick is to ask every working day between these two holidays (from Thursday May 26 to Monday June 6 inclusive): placing six holidays will result in 12 days of rest.

In November 2022, 8 days of leave frees up 16 days of vacation

is particularly advantageous.
Since the celebration of All Saints' Day (November 1) takes place on a Tuesday, posing on Monday October 31 frees you up for a four-day weekend.
The weeks of October 31 and November 7 each contain two statutory holidays.
By being away for these two weeks (i.e. 8 days off), you get 16 days off (i.e. from Saturday October 29 to Sunday November 13 inclusive).

, the calendar does not offer a gift: Christmas (December 25) will be celebrated on a Sunday, just like the New Year 2023.
