Aleppo-Sana
(Aleppo Victory) is the title of the exhibition hosted by Al-Assad Gallery for Fine Arts in the city of Aleppo, with the participation of 26 male and female artists who embodied the meanings of victory over terrorism and its supporters through their works.
In a statement to SANA's reporter, Nouran Jabakji, head of the Aleppo branch of the Union of Fine Artists, pointed out the importance of the exhibition held by the branch in terms of the participation of various works by artists such as oil paintings and sculptures embodying the city of Aleppo and its victory, in addition to paintings depicting its steadfast castle.
Ibrahim Daoud, Secretary of the Union, pointed out that the artists participating in the exhibition lit, through their paintings, the landmarks of Al-Shahba that stood during the war years and were able to achieve victory.
Among the participants, the young artist, Dania Al-Zaim, demonstrated the importance of group exhibitions that contribute to the artistic and cultural movement, pointing out that she followed the abstract school in her paintings, which depicted Aleppo monuments.
The plastic artist, Ibtisam Majid, participated in two paintings that embody the meanings of the victory of Aleppo and the hope of purifying the entire Syrian soil from terrorism and its supporters.
The plastic artist Khaldoun Al-Ahmad pointed out the importance of documenting the victory of Aleppo through these exhibitions, which confirm the importance of this city, which triumphed over obscurantist thought with its enlightened thought and thanks to the bravery of the Syrian Arab Army.
The plastic artist and sculptor Abdel Qader Manafikhi participated in wooden sculptures embodying landmarks from Aleppo, considering that art documents our struggle and steadfastness in the face of aggression for future generations.
