A young Jew was arrested today (Monday) on suspicion of disguising himself as an Arab and trying to enter the Temple Mount.
According to police, this could have been perceived as a provocation, "which could have caused an explosion."
He was released under restrictive conditions.
In another case this week, two Jews were arrested for kicking in the door of the Mughrabi Gate.
The young Jew wore a kaffiyeh on his head and tried to enter the Temple Mount.
Police arrested him and claimed that "this could have been a provocation, which could, God forbid, cause an 'explosion', a very sensitive incident."
The young man was released on restrictive conditions.

Earlier this week, two Jews were arrested after peeking at the Temple Mount and kicking at the door of the Mughrabi Gate.
"These are Jews who arrive at the entrance to the Temple Mount during the Fajr prayer, and try to enter during the prayer of Muslims there," the police said, emphasizing again that such an event could create riots and provocation.
Defense counsel for the two detainees said they were "there out of curiosity."
In response, he was told by police that "curiosity can be dangerous," and the two were released on parole.
The Jerusalem police are troubled by the cases, which have recently become a phenomenon in which Jews enter the Temple Mount disguised as Arabs, and try to create provocation.
