(ANSA) - TURIN, 10 JAN - With the exhibition of the painting by Matisse 'La Dance' of 1910, "as a wish for a future of colors and circles to take everyone back by the hand", the president of the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti di Torino, Paola Gribaudo, today opened the inauguration ceremony of the Academic Year 2021-22 which was also attended, instreaming, by the Minister of Research and University, MariaCristina Messa, who was awarded the Academy medal. "Despite the pandemic, in these two years, we have never stopped or lost heart, and we have put in place many expansion and innovation projects - said Gribaudo -. We need a new humanism and the Academies of Fine Arts have a responsibility in training,in cultural exchange not only national, but above all international ".
Gribaudo, together with the director Edoardo Di Mauro, underlined the collaboration with the University and Polytechnic of Turin in the field of art and creativity as a central element of the training and internationalization of the Academy, protagonist among other things on last December 15th an event promoted by the Ministry University and Research at the Dubai Expo where the Afam system - Higher artistic, musical and dance training was promoted.
During the inauguration, a representative of the Consultastudentesca underlined "the students' will to overcome this difficult moment by committing themselves to the first person".
A musical group from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Turin intervened, as a sign of the collaboration of the arts, and the Honoris Causa diploma in Didactic of Art was awarded to Professor Renato Barilli.
