About eight months after it was completely burned, during the events of the severe riots in Acre at the beginning of Operation The Guardian of the Walls, the fish restaurant "Uri Buri" reopened last night.

As you may recall, the restaurant, which operated continuously for about three decades and was considered one of the favorite fish restaurants in Israel, was set on fire along with quite a few other Jewish-owned businesses in the city.

Owner Uri Jeremias and the rest of the veteran staff "took advantage" of the tragedy in favor of a thorough renovation of the restaurant, including the infrastructure, and yesterday it was launched in a solemn ceremony, in the presence of US Ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides and Mayor Shimon Lankri.
