"Voters in Life" forum: "Free legal protection encourages more terrorists"
"The delusional reality that foreign governments are funding an organization that is petitioning serially to prevent the demolition of terrorist homes must change," said Alon Schwarzer, head of the research and policy department at the If You Will movement. "The Israeli government must immediately stop foreign subversion and not allow an organization whose main funding is foreign governments to act against Israel's counter-terrorism policy. HaMoked: "Demolition of houses is an illegal collective punishment"
The Center for the Protection of the Individual responded: "Demolition of houses is an improper collective punishment that has nothing to do with the legitimate fight against terrorism. It is time to put an end to this wrongful practice that is contrary to the law and the rules of morality and the basic principles of justice that derive from Hebrew law: 'A son shall not bear the iniquity of the father.
