The corona incidence has risen again in Berlin.
According to the latest figures from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), it was 694.1 on Monday morning.
The day before, the value was 685.7.
The number indicates how many new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants were registered in the past seven days.
After the holidays, the values were still below 300.
Berlin - The current values should again reflect the actual infection process more strongly: Both the Berlin Senate and the RKI removed their information this weekend, according to which less test and reporting activity can be assumed over the Christmas days and the turn of the year and based on the data therefore it would only give an “incomplete picture of the epidemiological situation”.
According to the RKI, 1097 new infections were registered in Berlin between Saturday and Sunday.
The total number of all infections detected since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 359,419.
