Diesel price rises to an all-time high

Diesel drivers currently have to pay more for their fuel than ever before, as announced by the ADAC.
In the nationwide daily average on Sunday, a liter of diesel cost 1.584 euros, which is the highest value ever measured by the traffic club.
E10 premium petrol hit the books at 1.659 euros per liter, which is just 5 cents away from its record level from 2012.
In addition to the renewed increase in oil prices recently, the price of CO2, which has risen since the beginning of the year, is also driving costs at the pump.
According to ADAC, the increase has an effect of around 1.5 cents per liter.
