After a year and a half of mobilization, 16 groups and associations of families fighting against the deprivation of liberty in nursing homes have decided to unite to defend the rights of the elderly.
This week, they are launching a platform
"For residents who are still citizens in Ehpad"
for the attention of presidential candidates to get them to take a position on old age.
Chance of the calendar, their plea for the rights of the elderly comes in the wake of the publication of the bestseller announced

where Michel Houellebecq describes the nursing homes as
"vile dying".
Together, these associations represent more than 3,000 families involved in some 1,000 nursing homes.
