Linderhof / GAP - The federal police accuse a Romanian of having obtained a false ID and imported it into Germany.
On Sunday afternoon, January 9, the man was subjected to a border police control near the Ammersattel / Linderhof border crossing on State Road 2060.
The 25-year-old was a passenger in a car registered in Germany. When asked by the federal police, he said that he had neither a vaccination or recovery certificate nor a current corona test result. However, the Garmisch-Partenkirchen officials found a vaccination certificate issued to him in a bag that was carried along, in which a corona first and second vaccination was noted. Faced with this circumstance, the Romanian national stated that he had recently bought the vaccination certificate from a compatriot. But he couldn't or didn't want to remember who the seller was.
According to the first findings of the Federal Police in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the adhesive labels for both COVID-19 vaccinations are fake.
The purchased, false vaccination certificate was seized as evidence.
After the police measures were completed, the temporarily arrested Romanian, who is registered in the Traunstein district, was able to continue his journey.
He will face criminal proceedings.
In addition, due to the lack of evidence upon entry into the Federal Republic of Germany, he will soon be faced with administrative offense proceedings by the district administrative authority with a corresponding fine.
