After shopping, you are usually happy to have fresh food.

But this Kaufland customer was anything but enthusiastic when she opened her cheese.

She shared the photos.

Munich - who doesn't know it?

You look forward to your meal and in the end you have to find out that one or more ingredients are moldy.

This is a tiresome topic even with a simple cheese sandwich.

Then the plans fall into the water for the time being.

It means rescheduling or going shopping.

This is particularly annoying, of course, when the ingredients have actually just been bought fresh and have not been in the cupboards for days.

A Kaufland customer recently made a similar discovery.

Kaufland: Disgusting surprise with "freshly bought" cheese - "one shouldn't get bad there"

“I just unpacked my freshly bought cheese yesterday evening ... it shouldn't be bad,” the customer comments on her find on Facebook.

A sick-looking emoji and the comment "sick" complete the message to Kaufland.

The pictures of the cheese show what she means.

The customer has unwrapped the cheese from its packaging and it looks clearly worn out.

Is it the supermarket's fault or the customer's fault?

Some users on Facebook suspect the latter.

“Did you keep the cold chain from the counter to home?” Asks a user with a wink.

“I guess you forgot about the WE in your pocket,” says another.

The supermarket itself also speaks directly.

"Good morning.

Thank you very much for your hint.

We are very sorry that you have purchased a product that has already spoiled before the expiration date (best before date) ”, writes the supermarket and also asks for further feedback.

For quality assurance, Kaufland would like to pass the incident on to customer management, which, judging by her response, the customer probably also accepts.

But she probably doesn't feel like having a cheese sandwich at first.

Disgusting surprises at other supermarkets too

Finds in the supermarket cause disgust or astonishment again and again.

One of these discoveries was made by a customer when he found a whole tomato in his donut.

But one or the other find has already been hidden in nuggets packs or apple pulp.

However, most of the finds also have one thing in common.

Most supermarkets reacted promptly to what their customers found.
