Kidnapping alert of little Hamza in December: the prosecution recognizes "dysfunctions"

The court had just ruled on the postponement to March 14 of the trial of Halim B., 40, for "

the removal of a child by ascendant from the hands of the person in charge of his custody

".

He was kept under judicial supervision.

On December 17, around 8 p.m., he went to the maternal assistant where his son was placed, in the context of a conflictual separation, and took him away, without violence.

The “

disturbing family context

” led the Béthune public prosecutor's office to trigger a kidnapping alert the next day, around 6.30 am, relinquishing the Lens police station in favor of the Lille judicial police.

But according to the investigation, several errors were made during the first investigations: while the phone initially used to locate Halim B. is not the correct one, this last phone to the police station twice shortly after the facts, and also warns the educator.
