First paramedics, then police officers - a 19-year-old man in Hohenfels freaked out in his apartment and attacked people with a machete.
Hohenfels - A special police unit had to move out on Sunday (January 2nd) to an apartment in Hohenfels (Neumarkt district in the Upper Palatinate) near Regensburg *.
As the police in Upper Palatinate announced, paramedics had been attacked there by a young man with a machete.
The emergency doctors had previously been called there at around 3 a.m. to provide medical care to a 19-year-old.
The man was apparently drunk and attacked the helpers with a machete.
A spokesman for the police said that the attacked had “left the apartment in a hurry”.
The roommate, who is also known to the police, also holed up.
Hohenfels: Police officers can overpower machete men
When the alerted SEK team arrived, the patient's anger had obviously not yet subsided.
He also attacked the officers.
However, they managed to overpower and arrest the man.
It is not the first attack of its kind in the area.
A few months ago there was also a SEK mission in the Neumarkt district.
At that time, three people were seriously injured in a knife attack on an ICE.
