Nazi flag on a coffin in Rome, Digos at work

The identification of the subjects who placed a flag with Nazi symbols on the coffin of Alessia Augello, a far-right militant whose funeral took place (ANSA), is underway.

Thus ended the funeral of Alessia Augello, a militant of the far-right Forza Nuova movement, who died at the age of 44 last January 7 from complications that occurred after surgery.

The coffin, at the end of the funeral celebrated in the parish of Santa Lucia, in the area of ​​piazzale Clodio, was "honored" with the Roman greeting by a few dozen militants.

On what happened, the Digos of the State Police has launched an investigation with the aim of identifying the perpetrators.

The images of the funeral were also taken by some citizens overlooking the balconies and published on the internet.

During the observation activity, Digos agents identified several members of the far right who took part in the funeral.

In a post published on the social networks Don Alessandro and Don Paolo Emilio, owners of the parish, condemned what happened in the churchyard.
