The fire brigade went out on Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m. for a Christmas tree fire in Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn.
As reported by the operations center, the tree caught fire in an apartment on Wrenweg.
When the emergency services from Höhenkirchen, Siegertsbrunn and Brunnthal arrived, the fire had already been extinguished by the residents.
The apartment then had to be ventilated.
Two of them had to be hospitalized for treatment.
A total of three people aged 60, 57 and 21 were injured.
The police suspect the cause is a defective light cable.
