Novak Djoković has not yet commented on his vaccination status, and that is exactly the reason for the affair surrounding the tennis star, who wants to compete in the Australian Open from next Monday.

The exemption was then revoked, however, and the athlete had to go into quarantine in a hotel in Melbourne.

The Djoković case ended up in court.
Djoković's lawyers suddenly declared that he had survived a corona infection in December - and they were right.
For now, at least.
It is not yet clear whether the Serb will now be able to enter the country regularly and take part in the Australian Open as defending champion.
A lawyer for the Australian federal government said after the verdict that the immigration minister reserved the right to revoke Djoković's visa again.
According to his brother, Novak Djoković is now in his lawyers' office and is advising on how to proceed.
