Due to the pandemic, this happened on a small scale.
Only 50 guests who had to meet 2G-plus were allowed by the organizer.
In addition, a tragic death
overshadowed
the enthronement.
One of the
young dancers
died
the day before the dress rehearsal without any sign in his parents' apartment
, said the OTF chairman Adalbert Heim.
"No accident, Corona was not the cause either," he emphasized.
Nevertheless, after consultation with the parents, the club decided to hold the presentation, according to Heim.
Five members of the
crisis intervention
team supported the club's management during the dress rehearsal.
“That was very valuable,” said Heim.
Therefore, the student's death was also openly addressed at the event.
Appointed Honorary President
Even otherwise such emotional elements as the appointment of an honorary president remained in a rather dignified framework.
They were only
held in digital form via
video messages .
Norbert Stumpe
was granted this honor for the first time by the OTF.
Stumpe was one of the people who accompanied the association from its foundation in 1981.
One of the video congratulators was Peter Seuffert, who has been the mood maker at the men's ballet for many years: “You deserve it,” said Seuffert, conveying his congratulations.
After 2 years of training, finally a gig
"We are glad that we can present the program in this way at all," said OTF Chairman Heim before the event.
Above all, it was important to finally enable the children and young people to perform after two years of training, said Heim.
“And that as safely as possible.” The OTF men's ballet, which could also have celebrated an anniversary at the age of 25, was not enthroned from the start due to the pandemic.
Sponsors, official dignitaries of the city of Olching or representatives of other gardens were also not invited.
"The golden 20s"
So it was left to the OTF kids to celebrate their 30th anniversary in person.
With their lively show program under the motto “The Golden Twenties”, they framed the enthronement of the child-prince couple Melina I and Hannes I. The two, who already form the child-prince couple in their second year, are the only ones officially enthroned prince couple of the city of Olching.
Still, both remained humble.
"Thank God it was worth the effort the second attempt," said Melina Kessler happily.
Your prince Hannes Wusenkow announced, "that we look forward to every appearance and will enjoy every minute".
