A number of Palestinian students were injured today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' assault on them in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the eastern entrance to Birzeit University in Ramallah and attacked the students with bullets, injuring two students and arresting five other students.
In turn, the university administration condemned the blatant attack by the occupation forces on the university and requested it to demand international and human rights institutions to intervene in order to protect Palestinian educational institutions.
The occupation forces continue their attacks on Palestinian universities and schools and impede the access of students and children to them by pursuing and arresting them in contravention of the system of international values, rights and norms.
