Childhood stories are always particularly funny to hear.

An actress now unpacked her little mishaps as a child - in the house of the royals.

London - a toy on Prince Charles' head?

This is the story you would most likely expect from your own sons.

But it wasn't Harry and William who chatted about childhood in an interview.

Instead, the presenter James Corden coaxed the British actress Lily Collins from childhood anecdotes.

When she was only two years old, the actress "Emily in Paris" was lucky enough to meet the British royals.

But at that age, of course, she wasn't aware of it.

Neither does royal etiquette, Collins laughingly recounts in an interview with Corden.

Her father Phil Collins was involved in the non-profit organization "The Prince's Trust", which was founded in 1976 by Prince Charles.

Little Lily was allowed to accompany her parents to a reception when she was two years old.

Flowers that were actually meant for Princess Diana, who stands in front of her in the photo.

"I give Diana the flowers", Lily Collins describes in an interview, "but the moment Diana wanted to take them, I tried to take them back".

The two-year-old had probably changed her mind.

"As you can imagine, everyone held their breath first," says Collins.

"But I was wearing a cute dress, so who should seriously hold it against me?" She jokes.

As a child, Lily Collins apparently made a great impression not only on Diana.

Because Charles, who is passionate about painting, was allowed to make the acquaintance of the Collins daughter.

"When I was younger, I played with some toys with Prince Charles," Lily Colllins begins the second childhood story.

As they were playing, Lily suddenly threw a toy phone at the head of the British heir to the throne.

James Corden is enthusiastic about the story.

“You've been hanging out with the royal family the whole time,” he notes, noting: “I didn't know the Royals were so into Genesis!” Interesting news, as well as the assumption that Prince Charles might be back approaches
