The Labour Department reiterated that it understands the needs of local families for foreign domestic helpers. However, the local epidemic situation has changed rapidly, and the policy of preventing importation from foreigners must still be adhered to. After considering the global and local epidemic situation, it will examine whether the number of designated quarantine facilities can be further increased.

Employers and employment agencies must register with the name on the valid passport of the foreign domestic helper. The reserved room is not transferable.
Applications for bookings made under the names of other persons or organisations will not be processed.
When booking a room, the person making the reservation must prepare a copy of the foreign domestic helper's passport, a valid work visa and an approved vaccination record.
After the hotel has issued a reservation confirmation notice, the reservation process will be completed.
Foreign domestic helpers are required to provide the above documents for verification when they move into the facility.
When arranging foreign domestic helpers to come to Hong Kong, employers and employment agencies should check the flight information and allow enough time to prepare the required documents and procedures.
If the foreign domestic helper is diagnosed before arriving in Hong Kong, or due to the airline company modifying/cancelling the flight, or being affected by the city closure, the room reservation must be modified or canceled, and the relevant supporting documents can be submitted before the check-in date. fee paid.
If the domestic helper does not have a booking confirmation letter from the designated quarantine facility, he or she will be prohibited from boarding the flight to Hong Kong, or may be refused entry upon arrival in Hong Kong.
