The statement indicated that the aforementioned company is also working on a project to develop a new satellite system that may include six satellites that would support navigation and positioning systems for vehicles and ships that will be in the Arctic regions.
The director of the Russian company, Reshetnyov, Nikolai Testoyedov, had recently announced that the first two satellites of the type (Glonass K2) will join the navigation system (Glonass) in 2022, and the first satellite of this category will be launched in the second quarter of next year, while the other satellite will be launched in the third quarter of next year. .
