Badminton player Sana Al-Zoubi is one of the talents who was able to prove her worth strongly with her technical level and the remarkable results she achieved during her practice of the game, which began only three years ago.
Al-Zoubi, 12, said in a statement to SANA: I started my sports career in 2017 in Al Karama Club, and I chose this sport because it is an individual game that is distinguished from other games by being self-reliant and requiring high concentration.
Al-Zoubi added: My first participation in 2019 was in the Republic Championship for young women, and I achieved fourth place, and in 2020 and 2021 I got second place in the Republic Championship under 13 years and fourth place under 15 years old.
Al-Zoubi continued: She participated in the West Asian Championship for the U-17 category, during which she managed to achieve three silver medals in female doubles, bronze in mixed doubles, and bronze in singles.
Al-Zoubi indicated that she aspires to achieve achievements in the upcoming foreign tournaments through perseverance in training.
