Strong earthquake shakes the province of Tucumán, in Argentina

An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 shook the Argentine province of Tucumán early this Monday, according to a report from the United States Geological Survey (USGS, for its acronym in English).

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 18 kilometers west northwest of the town of Trancas, with a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the report.
