A teenager, born in 2005, was arrested Monday (January 10) in southern Sweden after seriously injuring a student and, slightly, a teacher with a knife, police said.
The media have linked the suspect in the attack on a school in the city of Kristianstad to the perpetrator of a similar attack in August.

The assailant then turned to the teacher and "
started kicking
", the student said, adding that the class then started running out of the building.
A similar attack in August
Alerted and informed that at least one person had been stabbed, police quickly arrested the suspect in "
relatively unspectacular
" fashion, local police chief Anders Olofsson told reporters.
A 55-year-old teacher and another 16-year-old student were injured in the attack.
The teacher's injuries are "
slight
" but those of the student were described as "
serious
" in a statement released by the regional health authority.
The suspect was detained for "
attempted murder
", police said.

For its part, the television channel TV4 claimed that the case was linked to a similar attack in August in the town of Eslov, about 50 kilometers southwest of Kristianstad, when a student attacked an employee. 45-year-old school.
