The branch of the Syrian Trade Corporation in Hama began offering quantities of apples rented from farmers for the current season, amounting to about 70 tons, in the halls of Hama, Masyaf, Salmiya, Suqaylabiyah and Mahrada.
And the director of the Foundation’s branch, Engineer Haider Al-Youssef, told SANA reporter that the apples at the Foundation are available at prices lower than the market price of the golden and starken varieties that were extracted directly from the farmers’ fields in each of the towns of Bashnin, Tin Al-Sabil, Barshin and in the Foundation’s cars, explaining that the apple material will be offered in batches within the framework of Positive intervention and providing it at reduced prices to citizens.
Eng. Al-Youssef pointed out that the branch continued to extract citrus fruits from the governorates of Lattakia and Tartous and put them in its halls at reduced prices, as the quantities rented to date exceeded 30 tons, indicating that the types imported are Carmantina, Abu Surra oranges and all kinds of lemons.
