Police arrested seven suspects at the site, which covers about 800 square meters, and confiscated over 3,100 cannabis seedlings weighing about half a ton, valued at tens of millions of shekels.

During the covert operation, the police uncovered the laboratory, which was divided into separate spaces according to the stages of growing the seedlings, including a space intended for harvesting the seedlings and producing the drug.

The estimated market value of the seedlings is estimated at tens of millions of shekels.

Yesterday afternoon, after five of the suspects arrived at the lab, police forces raided it and arrested them.

At the same time, two other suspects involved in the operation of the place were arrested.

During the raid, in addition to half a ton of drug seedlings, the laboratory equipment used for the cultivation, three vehicles and a truck belonging to the suspects were seized, and they were transferred for further economic investigation and forfeiture.

All the suspects, residents of the center and the north, aged 18 to 50, were transferred for further investigation at the Lachish Hospital, and today they will be brought before the court for a hearing.
