The average age also changes, from 56 to 50 years in the composition of the leadership,and from 55 to 49 years in the strategic direction of the Catalan police.

The objective of the new appointments and the renewal of the command structure of the Generalitat is to create a more social, close, young, feminized and innovative police force to face new challenges in security, says the Department of the Interior.
