Regarding his experience in the field of plastic art, Mansour explained in an interview with SANA that he took the path of art at the age of twenty, and he is a law student at Damascus University, where his curiosity led him to visit the College of Fine Arts and see the artists’ productions in it, which awakened his artistic sense, so he began to study art academically in the free creative studio at the center. Russian cultural center in Damascus.

Mansour's first teacher was the plastic artist Ahmed Ibrahim, who encouraged and trained him in oil painting techniques, how to create painting and the boldness of using the brush, as he was influenced by his realistic works of impressionist style that simulates nature and its details with its colors.

Mansour explains that he was affected by the nature of his village, the basement, so the view of the herbs, flowers, and surrounding rocks was a material to store what he could of this beauty in his paintings, which the female also had a great share in its composition because of its connotations and symbols, through which the artist can communicate the ideas he wants to highlight such as goodness, giving, fertility, tenderness, beauty and others .

And about the reason for his preference for oil or acrylic colors, he points out that they are slow-drying, which gives him more room to combine colors and discover new ones and get the most accurate details during the color experiment.

Mansour's paintings, most of which were produced during the war on our country, tried to take the viewer through them to a space of hope and optimism by drawing beauty in all its forms.
