Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, confirmed that his talks with his Iranian counterpart Ali Bagheri Kani focused on the issue of canceling the embargo imposed on Iran by America and the West.
On his Twitter account today, Ulyanov said: We discussed a wide range of contentious issues on which an agreement should be reached in the context of reviving the nuclear agreement and abolishing the embargo.
In another tweet, Ulyanov referred to his discussions today also with the coordinator of the Joint Commission for the Nuclear Agreement, Enrique Mora, noting that the two sides reviewed during this meeting ways to speed up the pace of negotiations and abolish the embargo on Tehran.
Yesterday, Ulyanov stressed that reaching the desired result in the ongoing nuclear negotiations in Vienna between Iran and the Four Plus One group depends on time and joint efforts.
It is noteworthy that the Austrian capital, Vienna, is hosting the eighth round of nuclear talks between Iran and the 4+1 group with the aim of reviving the nuclear agreement that the United States unilaterally exited in 2018.
