The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, offered an interview this Monday on Cadena SER, hours after the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, did it on the same station. Despite this coincidence, and the fact that today he represented the Popular Party at an informative breakfast for the elections in Castilla y León; The Madrid leader wanted to make it clear that there is no direct rivalry between Pablo Casado and her since she does not have "any type of national aspiration." However, as can be seen in the video that accompanies this news, he has remained firm in his desire to want to lead the party in the region despite the refusal of the PP leader: "When the congress is held I am going to present myself , I am deeply excited about it ”.
During the 40 minutes that the interview lasted, Ayuso has stressed on several occasions the importance that "Spain does not remain in the hands of Pedro Sánchez and his Government partners for another minute."
He has also referred to the Executive to compare the management of the national pandemic and that of his community: "If you tell me that closing is the solution to save lives, what about the Government of Spain that has not closed since the first wave."
The president affirms that she does not believe that any community has done so much to go "against the pandemic and not against jobs" and wanted to dedicate a few words to the health workers who work in this region: "The health personnel in Madrid will always be a sector with which to be in debt and any effort towards them is little ”.
The Madrilenian leader has also been able to stop in this interview the criticisms of the case of the network of exploitation of minors who lived in protection centers in the region for which the Ombudsman has opened an investigation.
He assures that his Government provides information as it is known and that he will appear as a private prosecutor in the case.
