Weather forecast for Germany: where does the sun come through?

Drizzle, fog and tough high fog fields - this is what it looks like in northern Germany in particular.

In the south, the sun tends to shine, especially in high mountain areas.

On Thursday and Friday, the DWD weather experts expect a lot of sunshine after the fog has cleared, between the Black Forest and the Alps as well as in the higher mountains.

In the north and east, partly also in the northern low mountain range, it remains rather cloudy and there is occasional drizzle.

Otherwise thick fog and high fog will persist.

It remains cloudy all day, especially in some river plains.

According to the DWD, the maximum temperature in the northern half is 4 to 8 degrees, otherwise 0 to 4 degrees.

With thick fog in the valleys of southern Germany, slight permafrost still prevails.

At night, on the other hand, it can get bitterly cold.

Up to minus 10 degrees near the Alps, otherwise the values ​​are between 0 and minus 6 degrees.

In the east and north, temperatures drop to 5 to 1 degrees.
