“Hubert ohne Staller” celebrates its anniversary: Surprises in the ARD cult series - Bavarian star leaves

Tenth season: "Hubert without Staller", the successful ARD series from Wolfratshausen, is celebrating its anniversary.
The 16 new episodes will run on ARD from January 12th.

A star leaves the ARD cult series, and more surprises await the fans.

- For ten years the Wolfratshauser snoopers have been idling from one murder case to the next - and there is still no end in sight: The ARD hit series "Hubert ohne Staller" is in the anniversary season.
The first episode will be broadcast in mid-January - but a popular character will no longer be there.

Some series simply expire over time.
After a few seasons, the scriptwriters lose their ideas, the viewers lose interest, and the producers lose patience.
With “Hubert ohne Staller” it is obviously very different.
Last year, the ninth season of the series flickered around curious murder cases in and around Wolfratshausen on the screens of the republic - and set a new rating record.
"An average of 2.6 million viewers tuned into the ninth season last year," explains the ARD coordinator for the evening program, Frank Beckmann, in a press kit.
That is "the highest range since the premiere on November 2, 2011".
For Beckmann, the fact that a TV series is going through a tenth season is “a real milestone in the fast-moving media world”.

Most of the main actors are on board from day one: Christian Tramitz in the role of the grumpy (and eponymous) Chief Police Officer Franz Hubert, Michael Brandner as the now degraded Police Chief Reimund Girwidz, Paul Sedlmair as the preferred but overwhelmed police officer Martin Riedl and Hannes Ringlstetter as a sometimes dodgy but always helpful Yazid.
Its motto is: "I do everything".
He will prove this again in the new season: He is taking over the Rattlinger bakery, where Hubert and Girwidz regularly escape the dreary everyday life in long coffee breaks.
Most recently, the Bavarian comedy star Monika Gruber ran the local bakery of Wolfratshausen's TV police officers in her role as Barbara Hansen.
She is no longer part of the anniversary season.

Otherwise, the core team of the series stays together: Katharina Müller-Elmau, as the chief of police, is annoyed by the unconventional investigation methods used by her people.
Across the table from Dr.
Caroline Fuchs, played by Susu Padotzke, 16 new corpses migrate.
Mitsou Jung is the chick of the police station in her role as Christina Bayer.

Every Wednesday at 6:50 p.m. you can watch the team solve all sorts of bizarre murders.
It all started on January 12th with an accident: Hubert and Girwidz landed with the (since season 1 extremely rickety) "Car 3" in a pile of straw bales - the brakes failed.
You will find yourself in good company away from the road: A motorcyclist is lying in the meadow who is involved in a serious accident because someone cut the brake hoses: an attempted murder - and thus the 149th case for the Wolfratshauser TV district.
