2G-plus access rules also for culture, leisure and sport

The stricter 2G-plus access rules due to the corona pandemic do not only apply to the catering trade in Berlin.

Berlin's governing mayor Franziska Giffey (SPD) also named the cultural sector with theaters or operas, the sports and leisure sector and events on Tuesday.

The rules therefore apply to ten or more participants and not to children under 14.

Berlin - From Saturday (January 15), only those who have been boosted or have been vaccinated twice and have recovered with a daily test will have access to all these offers.

For the retail sector, however, 2G will continue to apply for the time being.

So vaccinated and convalescent have access.

A tightening to 2G plus was discussed in the Senate, but not decided, according to Giffey.

But that is not off the table, but a possible additional step.
