According to the investigators, it is the largest cocaine find in Saxony: the investigators found 700 kilograms of cocaine in a sugar delivery in a food company in the district of Central Saxony.
The street sales value of the drugs is therefore in the three-digit million range.
Employees of the company found the drug on Tuesday a week ago in a bulk delivery of cane sugar, as the State Criminal Police Office Saxony and the Dresden Customs Investigation Office announced on Tuesday.
Dresden - Accordingly, the cocaine was packed in 600 packages.
According to the information, the drugs in street sales are worth 150 million euros.
The authorities initially did not provide any information about the exact location of the company.

The Chemnitz public prosecutor's office is investigating the unknown perpetrators.
It should be clarified whether all the cocaine should actually be delivered to Saxony and who the actual addressees were.
There was no initial suspicion against the company, it said.
The President of the LKA Sachsen, Sonja Penzel, explained in the announcement: "Securing such large quantities has a considerable influence on the entire narcotics market."
The "Free Press" had previously reported on the find.
