The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, announced on his Twitter account that he tested positive for covid-19.
This would be the second time during the pandemic in which the president announces that he has the disease.
Earlier in his morning conference, López Obrador, without a mask and in front of some reporters and together with members of his administration, had said that he "woke up hoarse" and that a test would be done.
