The big technology show in Las Vegas has been a place where carmakers have been showcasing their capabilities for years.
This year, too, the CES show did not disappoint and although some manufacturers decided not to attend it this year, others certainly did.

Electricity and more
Mercedes presented EQXX at CES - their interpretation of the electric future.
This is a spectacular electric car, a prototype, powered by electricity and also giving significant emphasis to the aerodynamic aspect, with a remarkably low drag coefficient of 0.17Cd.
But even beneath the slippery body are hidden in rows with a powerful electric system, a declared range of about 1,000 km, a huge screen that pushes the bar set by Mercedes themselves and more.
BMW introduced a kind of 'electronic ink' (E ink) through which they wrapped their relatively new iX.
BMW has actually created a kind of coating, with technology borrowed from Kindle and the like, that accurately tracks vehicle lines and matches them perfectly.
The result is a vehicle that can change colors depending on the mood of the driver.
At the moment, BMW's demo vehicle knows how to change its color from white to gray and then to black.
But it can be assumed that additional shades are only a matter of time.
The Cadillac is also aimed high and far with the Cadillac Inner Space - an electric and autonomous display car that is characterized not only by a jaw-dropping design but also by an unconventional cabin arrangement.
Unusual to say the least when the entrance to it is made after the doors open by themselves with them the upper glass canopy also rises and at the same time the seats face the incoming passenger.
After entering, the seats return to their place and produce a kind of two sofas for the well-being of the occupants.
A variety of screens and amorphous capacity of the passenger compartment should amuse the sitting time while arriving at the destination.
All the splendor, grandeur and technology are indeed mind-expanding, but at the moment they will not do more than that.
To see at what stage such cars will reach the public road, one has to look far.
very far.
back to reality
Closer to the ground, more practical and sensible cars could be found at the CES show.
With a wide range of newer and lesser manufacturers introducing electric vehicles that are about to become a hot commodity in the coming years.
Even among the exhibitors, two more clear trends could be identified.
One is the desire to make commercial vehicle use more logical and cleaner.
The second trend - it seems that the technology giants are very busy finding cheap and easy solutions to the computing requirements of the autonomous future.
Among all these, the Chrysler brand has also been revived.
Under the wings of the Stalantis concern, Chrysler will return to full life and the first all-electric sign was introduced as the Chrysler Airflow concept, which will somehow hit the markets in 2025.
As every year, this year too, the CES exhibition was a window into the tremendous ability of the various car manufacturers.
And as every year, we can only hope that all this beauty will also reach our doorstep, at one point or another.
