Again people took to the streets on Monday evening to demonstrate against the Corona measures.

In Fürstenfeldbruck, the number of so-called walkers has risen significantly again - for the first time they met counter-demonstrators.

Fürstenfeldbruck - The almost 800 opponents of the Corona measures disguised their meeting in Bruck as a walk as usual.

The action was not registered with the authorities - but the counter demo was.

According to the police, around 80 people took part in the latter.

They stood still in a trellis at the fairground and held posters in front of them when the so-called strollers set off.

Posters drawn up in a friendly tone

The counter-demonstration was organized by clubhouse operator and city councilor Florian Weber.

He said he had mobilized friends and acquaintances.

They all stand for the opposite of lateral thinkers.

"Please get vaccinated - I want to reopen my restaurant and welcome you as guests", "Courage to vaccinate so that concerts can take place again", or "Vaccination protects you from infections - solidarity only with those who cannot be vaccinated" was on the posters.

There were isolated debates between the two camps on the pitch-dark Volksfestplatz.

These remained peaceful.

Police admonish participants

Then the opponents of the Corona measures moved through the inner city of Fürstenfeldbruck.

Yelling, yelling and shouting accompanied the train.

Police officers who urged calm always kept a watchful eye on the photographers in the local press in order to protect them from possible attacks.

The officers also had to repeatedly point out the so-called walkers that they were observing the distance rules.

A 22-year-old woman from Munich stuck flyers on street lamps.

This counts as damage to property and is presented to the public prosecutor.

Concern for security and appeal

Overall, from a police point of view, the elevator ran largely smoothly, it is said.

Road traffic was only regulated in isolated cases so that there were no dangerous situations.

Meeting participants were asked to abide by the traffic rules and to use footpaths.

On the main square, pedestrians repeatedly jammed at red lights.

Police chief Nina Vallentin, head of the Fürstenfeldbruck police station, emphasized that the office was well prepared for the gathering.

"Nevertheless, we appeal to the organizers of the unannounced meeting to notify this in advance and to discuss the process with the authorities, as stipulated by the right of assembly."

Increasing demo tourism

The Fürstenfeldbruck mayor Erich Raff was there again on Monday.

According to his observation, at least half of the so-called walkers came from outside the city.

The town hall chief would welcome the issuance of a general decree with precisely defined hygiene rules for the urban area in order to contain the protests.

That would say clearly to people: "You are moving in an unlawful area." On the other hand, an order makes no sense if it cannot be enforced, said Raff.

Countermeasures are difficult

District Administrator Thomas Karmasin is also skeptical of such an order that has already been issued elsewhere.

The question of enforceability should not, at least on the surface, be a counter-argument.

However, one cannot be keen to use violence to create an even more difficult situation.

Karmasin does not consider a general ban on so-called walks to be legally tenable.

After a successful lawsuit against it, "they would turn it up even more," he said.

It is annoying that in this way the police are employed, who have enough other things to do.

According to the police, the corona walk around the Gröbenzell town hall was peaceful.

Even the distances were largely observed by the approximately 60 participants.

Over 100 Corona opponents were on the road in Germering.

The police did not register any incidents.

Meanwhile, it is unclear whether there will be another counter demo in Bruck.

City councilor Florian Weber was very satisfied with his action on Monday.
