The omicron wave hits one of the main services in the country:
Israel Railways announced today (Tuesday) that due to an increase in the volume of morbidity of train personnel, changes will be made in train traffic.
The changes will apply at the Ashkelon-Sderot-Netivot-Ofakim-Beer Sheva stations, with the frequency of trains on this line standing at one train per hour, in each direction (instead of two trains every hour during peak hours) and the operating hours on this line will be shortened.
Free rides will be operated at stations where there will be no train service, from the end of train traffic until the end of operating hours at midnight.
The last train from Ashkelon to Be'er Sheva will depart from Tel Aviv Savidor Central station at 21:28 and will stop at Ashkelon (22:10), Sderot (22:22), Netivot (22:30), Ofakim (22:37), BS North University (22:52), BS Central (23:01).
The last train from Be'er Sheva to Ashkelon. Train number 980 will depart at 19:10 and will stop at Ofakim (19:24), Netivot (19:34), Sderot (19:43), Ashkelon (19:55).
The last train from Be'er Sheva to Tel Aviv. Malachi Yoav (20:28), Mazkeret Batya (20:37), Ramla (20:46), Lod (20:51), Tel Aviv Hagana (21:05), Tel Aviv Hashalom (21:10), Tel Aviv Savidor Center (21:15).
