At around 7 p.m., the police officers, together with the forces from the Central Emergency Services of the Lower Franconia Police Headquarters, arrived in Hadergasse to stop several “strollers” who had formed a large group without permission.
Among them was a 51-year-old lady from Schweinfurt who tried forcibly to break the police chain.
She is said to have attacked an officer and bit him in the leg.
She slightly injured him and was temporarily arrested by the officers.
She is now being investigated for assaulting law enforcement officers.
Schweinfurth: An investigation is underway against 70 other walkers
In addition, the personal details of around 70 other demonstrators were recorded and administrative offense proceedings were initiated because they had violated the general decree.
According to the police, those affected must expect fines.
