"Hartz and cordial" - Sascha and Petra are desperate.

You can hardly believe that you almost fell victim to burglars.

Here's how the couple responded to the incident:

In the Benz barracks in Mannheim's Waldhof district, there is never a lack of a good helping of warmth.

The TV show "Hartz und cordially" * accompanies the everyday problems, worries and fears of the barracks.

Many participants struggle with financial worries and live on Hartz IV - which brings with it some prejudices.

In the new episode "Hartz and cordial - Benz barracks day by day" (broadcast on January 11, 2022), there is initially bad news to report: In the Green Block, Petra and Sascha have reason to be concerned.

The couple learned from a neighbor that intruders tried to break into their home.

The 42-year-old can hardly believe what his neighbor may have seen: “They filmed the windows with their mobile phone flashlight,” Sascha continues.

The ex-security employee immediately realized what the strangers were up to.

“They looked to see if they could break in here,” says Petra's fiancé, horrified.

When feeling the waist-high window frames, Sascha notices traces of burglary.

The attempt to enter his home by force makes Sascha furious.

"I can only advise you one thing: You shouldn't try, because it could possibly go wrong!" Reveals the former security employee in the 47th episode of the RTLZWEI broadcast.

But not only Petra and Sascha seem to be affected.

“They were also in the back, went through completely, back to the Vanessa,” says Petra indignantly.

Sascha also worries about his neighbors and checks not only his door and window frame but also those of the surrounding apartments for signs of burglary - and finds what she is looking for!

"The people also broke into the cellar, on the other side over there, where Ela lives," the 42-year-old continues.

Since Sascha and Petra worked in the security area and learned to love each other there *, they would know how to help and defend each other in an emergency.

"If I catch someone, they'll get a couple of slaps in the face," says Sascha in the social documentary.

“Antisocial and sick,” says Sascha, besides the attempted theft, above all that the burglars are said to have tampered with daughter Francesca's window.

The couple can only hope that the burglars will not come back after the failed attempt.
