Carnage on the roads:
A 50-year-old truck driver was killed last night (Tuesday) in an accident on Road 6, near the Sorek interchange.
An MDA team that was called to the scene determined that he was dead after being found without signs of life.
Yehuda Betito, a paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: "This is an accident involving two trucks. With the help of other paramedics, we provided first aid at the scene of the accident to a truck driver who was fatally injured and trapped in his truck."
Dubi Rinkoff, another paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: "Unfortunately, due to the nature of the serious injuries he suffered, his death was determined on the spot by a doctor, the circumstances of the accident are being examined."
