The testimony phase in the Jerusalem District Court in the 4000 case will continue today (Tuesday), after a two-week break with the end of the testimony of state witness Nir Hefetz.
The testimony will deal with the researcher Lahav 433 who studied the object - Nir Schwartz.
It will be recalled that during the testimony, Schwartz claimed that no unusual pressures were exerted in Hefetz's interrogation, and said that he saw the attempt of his interrogation partner, Niv Peleg, to replace legal representation in order to reach a state witness agreement, a problematic act.
Schwartz said: "When I read the transcripts of the interrogation, I saw that Niv was talking to him about a doctor and a patient and that a doctor needed to be changed. In my opinion it is problematic, even when we were in interrogation and Niv talked about an attorney I silenced him, it is a place not to enter."
At the cross-examination stage, Schwartz said that the decision regarding the object close to the object was made by the unit's command, but could not say who made the decision.
According to him, two meetings were held a day regarding the case.
He added that the intention was accepted by the prosecution, including instructions to ask certain questions, when the prosecutors were present during the investigations in the unit and in the status meetings held.
Schwartz confirmed that the investigation examined "sympathetic coverage," but not "abnormal response."
No other media outlets, other politicians, nor even Netanyahu's full coverage of Walla Walla were examined.
Schwartz admitted that the researchers were ignorant of communication.
