NRW restricts PCR tests as a substitute for vaccinations in amateur sports

In North Rhine-Westphalia, PCR tests are only valid as replacement evidence for a corona vaccination in the amateur sports sector, if at least one vaccination can be proven.
This is what NRW Health Minister Karl-Josef Laumann (CDU) explained on Tuesday when the updated Corona Protection Ordinance was presented in Düsseldorf.
In the case of professional athletes who have not been vaccinated, however, the PCR replacement regulation still applies until there is a federal regulation on the obligation to vaccinate.
